Bike School is a five-week program offered through Campus Recreation to prepare you to ride any bike on any terrain!
Master cyclist Bill Perry will coach you through cycling fundamentals to make you a well-rounded and equipped cyclist on the road and in the mountains. To prepare you for the great outdoors, you will train on our state-of-the-art indoor Life Fitness cycles.
Meet with your cycling team once a week for an hour ride and a 30-minute educational session covering the importance of cross training, nutrition for maximum potential, periodization of training, bike maintenance, and the basics of turning and braking.
Throughout the five weeks, track your progress in strength, flexibility, stability, endurance, stamina, and physiological improvement through the use of our MyZone Heart Rate monitoring system. After completing the course, you will receive resources to help you stay connected to the cycling world locally and nationally.
Enroll in Bike School and become a seasoned cyclist. It all starts with a single pedal stroke.
Participants should plan to attend one session per week for all five weeks.
