Auburn University Campus Recreation is hosting an INSANITY certification workshop for fitness professionals on November 1 from 8:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. The course takes place at the Recreation and Wellness Center located at 601 Heisman Drive on Auburn’s campus.

INSANITY is a cardio-based workout challenge developed by American fitness trainer and choreographer Shaun T.  “Now that INSANITY is going live in gyms, professionals in our area could be some of the first to become certified to teach group exercise classes,” said Campus Recreation Group Fitness Coordinator and INSANITY Trainer Christy Coleman.

“By leveraging the power of this world-famous fitness brand, fitness pros can be more marketable to gyms and to potential clients. Classes can be named INSANITY and teachers can be known as INSANITY certified and INSANITY instructors.”

The day-long workshop includes a certification course manual, expert hands-on instruction, an instructor’s DVD, INSANITY moves, and a music CD.

Participants who successfully complete the training will receive an INSANITY certified diploma, official e-badge, and authorization to use the INSANITY logo.

Entry for the INSANITY certification workshop is $249. Register online at InsanityCertification.com.

To access INSANITY materials, registrants must sign up for a free Team Beachbody account.

The 240,000-square-foot Auburn University Recreation and Wellness Center includes the nation’s longest indoor running track, a five-story rock-climbing wall, and a 45-person tiger-paw-shaped hot tub.
